Trigger
The Post Pro FX ‘Trigger’ applications can be described as ‘algorithmic sample players’. Instead of triggering ordinary audio samples, like wav/mp3 files that are stored on disk, you trigger a DSP algorithm that generates a sound in real-time. This innovative approach lets you shape the sounds in great detail, essentially giving you an unlimited set of sound variations to choose from.
Trigger applications come with 25 default sounds that can be tweaked or randomized to your liking. And, if you please, you can drag and drop any sound you like from a Trigger application to your desktop or audio software program, automatically turning it into a traditional wav file
Generator
The Post Pro FX ‘Generator’ applications can be described as ‘algorithmic texture players’. Instead of triggering ordinary audio samples, like wav/mp3 files that are stored on disk, this time you algorithmically generate a continuous audio texture that you can vary in intensity. This innovative approach lets you control a sound texture in great detail, essentially giving you full control over its behavior.
Generator applications come with a number of ‘node-graphs’ that let you customize different aspects of a sound texture as its intensity increases. And, if you please, you can record and drag and drop any sound you like from a Generator application to your desktop or audio software program, automatically turning it into a traditional wav file.

Post Pro FX is more than just a software development company. Audio is our passion. We pride ourselves in thinking out of the box, and aim to bring change. Our strength comes from the ability to utilize the diverse expertise from within our team and industry network to create innovative and all encompassing solutions.
Our Journey
Jochem de Jong, our founder, kicked off Post Pro FX in the beginning of 2022 as a self-funded start-up, with a team of audio tech experts. During the development of a personal video game project, he realised that existing software solutions and practises for creating cinematic sound design were not making most of recent advances in audio technology and computer power, and he saw an opportunity to pioneer a groundbreaking solution.
Since the start of the company, Post Pro FX has developed more than 15 applications, leveraging Jochem’s unique knowledge of DSP algorithms and the team’s versatile expertise on the latest audio technology. Our goal is to reach 25 applications by the end of 2023, and integrate our solutions into Unity and Unreal, and later on into FMOD and Wwise.
